Bellamore 1623 — Villa Saibante Monga · Valpolicella

San Pietro in Cariano · Valpolicella · Italy

A villa four centuries in the making. Yours for a day.

Bellamore 1623 stands among the vineyards of Valpolicella, in northern Italy's wine country — twenty minutes from Verona, half an hour from Lake Garda. We host one wedding at a time: the villa is entirely yours.

Why here

Four centuries of history. One couple at a time.

Three things that are simply true.

Built in 1623

The estate dates from 1623, when Valpolicella's hillsides were dotted with the country houses of Venetian nobility. A careful restoration has brought it back to life — the stone, the proportions and the quiet remain.

In the Valpolicella wine region

All around lie the vineyards of Amarone and Valpolicella. Verona and its Roman arena are twenty minutes away, Lake Garda half an hour — and Verona's airport is within easy reach for guests flying in.

Exclusively yours

We host one wedding at a time. No parallel events, no strangers at the bar: the villa, gardens and courtyard belong to you and your guests.

The golden hour

The light does half the work

Evening sun pours through the arched windows of the hall and falls along the columns of the loggia. It is the light your favourite photographs will be made of.

The spaces

Where your day unfolds

The historic hall

The historic hall

The heart of the villa: high ceilings and an atmosphere no marquee can imitate — for the reception, or as an elegant plan B if it rains.

The garden

The garden

Green lawns around the villa, for an open-air ceremony and an aperitivo as the sun drops behind the vines.

The courtyard

The courtyard

Enclosed and quietly theatrical — made for the cutting of the cake and dancing under the stars.

The loggia

The loggia

Stone columns and long shadows around the courtyard — the covered walkway that carries your guests through every moment of the day.

Questions

What couples ask us

How many guests can the villa host?

The hall, garden and courtyard suit both intimate ceremonies and larger receptions. Give us your estimated numbers in the enquiry and we will confirm the right arrangement straight away.

Will we have the villa exclusively?

Yes. We host one wedding at a time — on your day there are no other events and no other guests.

How does catering work?

Flexibly. We shape the right solution together during your viewing — with the trusted professionals we work with, or by discussing a caterer of your choice.

Can guests stay overnight at the villa?

The villa has a small number of suites opening in summer 2026. For weddings after the opening, they can be reserved for the couple and closest family; there are excellent places to stay nearby for everyone else.

How far in advance should we book?

May to October dates are the most sought after, and many couples enquire more than a year ahead. Since we host only one wedding at a time, the calendar is naturally limited — write to us as soon as you have a period in mind.

Where exactly is the villa, and how do we get there?

In San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of the Valpolicella wine region: twenty minutes from Verona, around half an hour from Lake Garda. Verona's airport is roughly thirty minutes away, and both Venice and Milan are within comfortable reach for international guests.
